How does the MAPS E-learning Programme work?
MAPS E-learning consists of two courses.
The first, MAPS Fundamentals, is made up of a set of modules and cover all technical and practical aspects of MAPS. You can read more about MAPS Fundamentals here :MAPS Fundamentals
The second, MAPS for Assessors, is made of a set of modules that are specifically tailored to people who will be applying the MAPS framework as assessors. You can read more about MAPS for Assessors here :MAPS for Assessors
The two courses are open to anyone and are entirely self-paced. All you need to do is register on this site and enjoy the learning experience! Register here
In addition to the two courses, MAPS E-learning allows assessors to obtain a certification by completing both courses and passing the MAPS Certification Exam. The exam is only available to people who fulfil certain requirements and who intend to carry out MAPS assessments. You can read more about the MAPS Certification Exam and how to apply for it here. Do I need any special software to use the MAPS E-learning Programme?
No. MAPS E-learning works on any browser and device, and you don't need to install any software.
The speed of your internet connection as well as the use of virtual private networks (VPNs) may affect loading times in the modules, but with a little patience everything should work.
How do I retrieve my password for logging in?
Follow the instructions given on the log-in page for retrieving your password in case you forget it.
Don't forget to check your spam filter or email quarantine page in case you can't find the email sent to you when retrieving your password.
Is the MAPS E-learning Programme available in other languages?
Currently, MAPS E-learning is available in English. We are developing versions in French and Spanish, which will launch soon.
